Infants 6 weeks to 2 years
How your child plays, learns, speaks, acts, and moves offers important clues about your child’s continuing development. Developmental milestones are things most children can do by a certain age. At Jumpstart we endeavor to assist in keeping your baby on track in meeting their all important milestones. This journey begins at birth and continues throughout their childhood.
Children reach milestones in how they play, learn, speak, act, and move. Jumpstart Infant Enrichment Center provides a unique environment for infants age 6 weeks-2 years. At Jumpstart our highly trained and experienced staff assist your baby with their “FIRSTS” such as taking their first step, smiling for the first time, and waving “bye bye”

Prek-2 ages 2-3 years old
Most children by the age of two continue to learn mainly through their senses, movement, and trial and error. They are like little sponges, picking up every bit of information about the world around them.
The majority of two year olds have mastered a wide array of skills. Some of these skills include:
- Singing simple songs, rhymes and rhythmic activities that help with developing language skills
- Physical skills such as jumping, running, climbing, and throwing an overhand ball
- Following two- or three-step directions. Their ability to understand and follow instructions improves
- Sorting objects by shape and color. They can categorize items based on visual characteristics
- Imitating the actions of adults and playmates: Children learn by observing and mimicking
Prek-3 Ages 3-4 Years old
Children by the age of three are continuing to learn mainly through their senses, movement, and trial and error. They are like little sponges, picking up every bit of information about the world around them.
The majority of three year olds have mastered a wide array of skills. Some of these skills include
- Walking up and down stairs, alternating feet
- Kicking, throwing, and catching a ball
- Climbing well and riding a tricycle
- Hopping and standing on one foot for up to five seconds
- Running more confidently and bending over without falling
- Helping put on and remove clothing
- Learning colors, counting, and using scissors
- Expressing likes and dislikes verbally
Prek-4/VPK ages 4-5 Years old
Children by the age of four are still continuing to learn mainly through their senses, movement, and trial and error. They are like little sponges, picking up every bit of information about the world around them
The majority of four year olds have mastered a wide array of skills. Some of these skills include
- Have an active imagination during play
- Actively playing with other children
- Telling stories and reciting nursery rhymes
- Identifying letters, letter sounds, colors and numbers
- Jumping, hopping, able to stand on one foot for a few seconds
- Using fine motor skills like writing, coloring and drawing shapes
- Standing on one foot for up to five seconds
- Kicking a ball forward, and catching a bouncing ball most of the time
Saturday Enrichment Programs
JUMPSTART ENRICHMENT CENTERS offers SATURDAY enrichment programs for ages 2 thru 5th grade. Programs will include a wide variety of developmentally enriched activities for your child.

Little Ballerinas
JUMPSTART ENRICHMENT CENTERS will welcome “Little Ballerinas”, Miriam Montes de Oca. Miriam brings with her over 20 years of professional dance instruction and we are very happy she has once again joined us.
Ballet offers many benefits for young children and provides not only a creative outlet that allows children to express themselves, but assists in establishing a strong body image, instills self-confidence, creates an environment that helps builds excellent social skills, and most importantly it is FUN!!!

Tykes Soccer to our list of extra-curricular activities offered during school
hours each week for 30 minutes of FUN!

After-School Program
JUMPSTART ENRICHMENT CENTERS currently offers After-School Enrichment Programs for children Kindergarten thru 5th Grade. Our Enrichment Programs provide your school-aged child with a SAFE, CLEAN, FRIENDLY, and most importantly EDUCATIONAL environment for your child’s After-School needs.
Our Programs provide your child with qualified supervised assistance to complete their homework on a daily basis. One-on-One Reading & Math tutoring programs are also available for children that need a little “EXTRA” help!
Online Supervised Virtual School
JUMPSTART ENRICHMENT CENTERS offers Supervised Virtual School Programs utilizing the K12.com Platform for Grades K-5.
All Programs are supervised by qualified Learning Coaches in a small class setting.
